About Collegium

Collegium is an AI study assistant that already knows your courses — your professors, your syllabi, your deadlines, your materials — before you ever type a message. It exists so you stop re-pasting the same context into a chatbot every single time you need help with your coursework.

Why it exists

I’m in college right now, and I built this first for myself. Every quarter I’d go back and forth with AI chats that had no idea what class I was in, what the assignment actually asked for, or what my professor cared about — I had to explain it all over again, every conversation, from zero. Canvas has the context, but it’s scattered across courses, modules, and buried syllabus PDFs. The actual work wasn’t the hard part; finding and re-explaining the context was. Collegium is the tool I wanted to exist: it pulls your real course world into one place and keeps it there, so the AI you talk to already knows what you’re working with.

Where we stand on your data

We’d rather be precise than reassuring. Your course data is stored on our servers — encrypted at rest, isolated to your account only — not held only in your browser. We don’t train AI models on it, we don’t sell it, and you can delete all of it, instantly, from Settings, whenever you want. We won’t tell you it’s “client-side” when it isn’t, and we won’t claim a formal compliance certification we don’t have. See our Privacy Policy for the full, honest version.
